Thunderball was released December 22, 1965. It was promoted as'The Biggest Bond of All'. With twice the budget of Goldfinger, $6 million, the film spared no expense - exotic locations, Bond gadgets, underwater action and cinematography a booming score by John Barry and a theme song sung by Tom Jones. It would also be the first Bond film to be filmed in widescreen Panavision - literally 'the biggest Bond of all'. Because of this Sean Connery performed the gun barrel sequence himself, having repla
