Valley of Fire State Park is a good day trip or half-day from Las Vegas if you’re wanting to do something other then the typical Vegas activities. Only about an hour away from vegas its an easy drive to get to. The hikes here are fairly short with all of the popular ones being 1.5 miles or less.
