According to a Wall Street Journal study, the Nittany Lions are among the most valuable teams in college football.

Penn State had 47 players enter the transfer portal during the open window in January, with plenty of turnover on both sides of the ball as the program transitions to the first season with Matt Campbell as its head coach. Among those 47, only running back Cam Wallace decided to return to the Nittany Lions and withdraw from the portal.

Current Packer and former Penn State superstar Micah Parsons took a shot at the SEC following another Big Ten national champion.

Tyree Foreman was rehired by Santos, but moved to running backs coach. He previously served as tight ends coach for the Quakers during the 2025 season. Foreman came to the Quakers from Temple University, where he served as running backs coach during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He also served as running backs coach at Towson from 2019-2022.

Blue-White Weekend is still on, the athletic department said, but it stopped short of confirming the annual scrimmage would go on as usual.

As Spell marches toward a much-anticipated senior season, Penn State will be keeping close tabs on the superstar. Retaining cornerbacks coach Terry Smith — key in the Lions’ recruiting efforts in the Pittsburgh area — will also be a big factor in Spell’s process.
